Data Deletion Instructions

Overview

Zapelite, a product of Elitestack Tecnologies LLC, provides WhatsApp Business API solutions that enable businesses to communicate with their customers efficiently and securely. In doing so, certain personal data may be collected and processed on our platform.

In compliance with Meta’s Platform Terms, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), you have the right to request the deletion of any personal data we hold about you.

What Data We Collect

Through the WhatsApp Business API integration, Zapelite may collect and process the following categories of personal data:

Zapelite follows the principle of data minimization — we only collect data that is necessary to deliver our WhatsApp messaging services.

How to Request Data Deletion

You can request the deletion of your personal data through any of the following methods:

Option 1: Email Request

Send an email to privacy@zapelite.io with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. Include your full name and WhatsApp phone number (with country code). Our team will verify your identity and acknowledge within 3 business days. Data will be permanently deleted within 30 calendar days once verified.

Option 2: WhatsApp Message

Send a WhatsApp message to our official business number with the text “Delete my data”. Our system will guide you through verification and initiate the deletion within 30 calendar days.

Option 3: In-App Request

Log into your account on zapelite.io, navigate to Settings → Privacy → Delete My Data, and follow the on-screen prompts.

What Happens When You Request Deletion

Upon receiving and verifying a valid data deletion request, Zapelite will permanently remove the following from all of our systems:

*Legal Retention Notice: Certain records (consent logs and billing data) may be retained as required by UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 and GDPR Art 17(3). This data is isolated and purged automatically after the legal period.

Your Privacy Rights

In addition to data deletion, you have the following rights regarding your personal data processed by Zapelite:

Remove Zapelite via Facebook Settings

You can also revoke Zapelite’s access to your data directly through your Facebook/Meta account:

• Go to Facebook Account Settings & Privacy → Settings
• Navigate to “Apps and Websites”
• Search for “Zapelite” (or “zapchat”) in the list
• Click “Remove” to revoke access and request deletion

Removing Zapelite from your Facebook settings revokes Meta access. For a complete deletion of data on our servers, please also submit a request via email.
