The WhatsApp integration
the rest of your stack plugs into
Zapelite connects the official WhatsApp Business API to the systems you already run — your CRM, your store, your payment gateway, your calendar — and puts every conversation in one team inbox on top of them.
What "integrating WhatsApp" actually requires
The consumer WhatsApp app and the WhatsApp Business app have no integration surface. There is no supported way to connect either one to a CRM, a store or a helpdesk — which is why every tool that claims otherwise is either scraping a phone or running an unofficial client, and why those numbers get banned.
A real integration needs the official WhatsApp Business API: a verified business, a WhatsApp Business Account, a number provisioned against it, and approved message templates. That is the layer Zapelite operates as a Meta Tech Provider, through our own Meta application. Once it exists, WhatsApp stops being a phone somebody has to watch and becomes a system your other systems can talk to.
How the connection gets made
Four steps. We do the Meta-facing parts with you rather than mailing you a checklist.
Verify the business
Meta business verification against your trade licence. This is the step that gates everything else, and the one that stalls most self-serve attempts.
Provision the number
A WhatsApp Business Account is created and your number is registered against it, with a verified business profile. A number currently on the WhatsApp Business app can be migrated across.
Get templates approved
Anything sent outside the service window runs on a pre-approved template. We submit yours in the right category the first time, which is most of what determines whether they pass.
Connect your tools
Native integration, universal webhook or REST API — whichever fits. Contacts, orders and payment events start moving in both directions.
What WhatsApp connects to
Eighteen native integrations, a universal webhook connector for everything else, and a REST API underneath all of it. Full catalogue on the integrations hub.
CRM
Zoho, HubSpot and Salesforce sync contacts and leads bidirectionally. Every WhatsApp interaction lands on the timeline of the matching record, so the pipeline reflects what was actually said.
Commerce
Shopify and WooCommerce sync catalogue and orders. Abandoned carts, back-in-stock alerts and post-purchase review requests all go out over WhatsApp instead of into an ignored inbox.
Payments
Stripe, PayTabs, Razorpay and Telr. Send a pay-by-link inside the thread and the payment event comes straight back to the conversation that produced it.
Scheduling
Google Calendar and Calendly. Bookings made in chat land on the right calendar, and reminders go back out on the channel the customer actually reads.
Support desks
Zendesk, Freshdesk and Jira. WhatsApp threads become tickets with numbers and SLAs rather than messages somebody has to remember to action.
Everything else
Google Sheets, Odoo ERP and LinkedIn natively. n8n and Pabbly Connect bridge to 1,000+ apps. The universal webhook connector ingests contacts from any POS, form or booking system with flexible field mapping and phone dedup.
The integration is the floor, not the product
Connecting WhatsApp to your CRM is worth very little on its own. What makes it pay is what runs on the channel once it is connected — all of it included, none of it a separate purchase.
- One team inbox — WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger together, with ticket stages, SLA policies, round-robin assignment, @mentions and a shared response library
- No-code bot builder — visual flows with triggers, branches, lead scoring and a guaranteed handoff to a human
- Broadcast campaigns — dynamic segments, timezone-aware quiet hours, per-number pacing and automatic pause when template quality drops
- Built-in CRM — kanban pipelines, deals opened from lead signals, lifecycle stages, for teams that would rather not run a second system
- AI copilot — reply drafting, summaries and intent detection on your own provider key, at cost, with zero markup
Or skip the connectors
and use the API
Every native integration runs on the same REST API you get access to. Send template messages, ingest contacts, trigger flows and react to delivery, read, reply and payment events in real time — from any system, in any language.
- Signed webhooks — verify every payload; safe retries on your side and ours
- Documented rate limits — per-plan quotas enforced at the edge, so behaviour under load is predictable
- Full endpoint coverage — messages, contacts, flows, campaigns and analytics

WhatsApp integration, answered.
A WhatsApp integration connects the official WhatsApp Business API to the systems a business already runs — CRM, online store, payment gateway, calendar or helpdesk — so conversations, contacts and orders move between them automatically instead of being copied by hand. Zapelite provides the connection layer plus the team inbox on top of it.
Yes. The consumer WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business apps have no integration surface. Connecting WhatsApp to a CRM, store or helpdesk requires the official WhatsApp Business API, which is what Zapelite runs on as a Meta Tech Provider.
All three are native Zapelite integrations. Contacts and leads sync bidirectionally, and every WhatsApp interaction is logged against the matching record, so your pipeline reflects what was actually said without an agent re-typing it.
Three routes cover it. The universal webhook connector ingests contacts from any POS, form or booking system with flexible field mapping. The REST API and signed webhooks let you build the connection directly. And the n8n and Pabbly Connect bridges reach 1,000+ apps without code.
Most businesses are live on the official WhatsApp Business API within 24 hours, with guided onboarding. The variable is Meta business verification and message template approval, both of which Zapelite handles with you as part of setup.
Not when the connection is official. Zapelite uses only the official WhatsApp Business API — never unofficial clients or gray-market gateways, which are what actually get numbers banned. Campaign pacing and automatic pause on template-quality drops protect your sender reputation after go-live.
